September 2019 - After a review of the international development assistance in 2016, the federal government announced that it would invest resources to support sexual and reproductive health and rights as a means of advancing the UN's sustainable development goal regarding gender equality and empowerment of all women and girls. Therefore, this promise is fulfilled.
