We consider this promise to be in progress. Provincial student loans were already interest-free and the government has shown no indication of wanting to change this.

Traces of this promise can be found in the mandate letter addressed to the Minister of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour, Alyson Townsend. Mandate letters define ministerial objectives. Therefore, this promise remains an ongoing priority, and we will monitor its implementation.
